- First, how did you tell your parents that you are a furry?
I told my mother long before my father. Her only response was "that kinda makes since, you use to growl at the dog when you were younger. My father was actually a little different. I invited my nephew to watch the fursuit parade and unfortunately my father was the only one available to bring him. On the up side my father had a better time than my nephew. he thought we were all fun and crazy.
- Do your parents know about your fursuit(s)?
They know about some of them. they have seen pictures of "Bolo" but not of any of my other suits.
- Does the rest of your family know about you being a furry/having a fursuit?
My brother and his wife knows, beyond that I could care less about the rest of my family.
- Did you explain/told you boyfriend?
since we meet at a furmeet yeah I think he knows ^_^
- What did your friends say, after you show/explain it?
"What's a furry" is usually the first thing, then it's all do you have sex with animals? that ends up being a long explination that I don't find actually animals "hot"
- Did you tell people at your work/job about it?
Yeah, it's come up in conversation.
- You have facebook, do you keep your furry/fursuit things separate from friends/family/colleagues?
No, why would I? I hate to lie about something that's such a big part of my life and something that I identify myself with. in fact I don't even have a nonfur facebook. all I have is Bolos
