SO! for band spotlight Monday we have Egypt central sadly this is one of those cases were such a great band has broken up lets get some of their history first Egypt Central was an American alternative metal band from Memphis, Tennessee. Egypt Central was formed on October 2, 2002. They wrote and recorded for one year until generating a buzz in their hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.[citation needed] After eight shows, they caught the attention of former Lava Records CEO Jason Flom They had two singles from that CD "you make me sick" and "taking you down" a few years later they recorded white rabbit. it was released on May 31, 2011
