"Nerai. I'm also called Nerai the Red-Marked, because, well, you can see why I'm sure."

"Two hundred and twenty three years old."

"Travelling and other inconveniencing situations have made me indifferent towards food. After all, any dish becomes your favorite dish when you haven't eaten for months."

Don't fuck with me." Nerai sighs, giving a distant look off to the side. "No, I don't have any siblings. For how much longer am I here?"

"Do you mean in a biological sense? Because if I ever found my father again I'm sure I'd have a very violent response. My mother, not so much, though she passed on so many years ago. Or, do you mean in a metaphysical sense? If I met whatever diety put us all on this miserable rock together? I'm sure I'd ask him why it is my life always seems to be a tale of misery."

"More than I already have? Hmm... Happy. I want to be happy when I "grow up."

I want to get away from all the shit I have to deal with on a regular basis, find a nice mate and settle down somewhere secluded. Secluded and safe."
