when i get art block i like to try new techniques and change up my style a little, every artist gets tired of seeing the same thing all the time. it might not work for everyone but i find it helpful ;w;

That's a pretty good idea, but you have to try not to get stuck picking a new style. Profound artist Phil Hansen would pick a limitation at random: just dots, drawing with words, painting with a blowtorch, etc. And then he would pick a new one. I think another great approach would be to create a story for each artwork you find yourself stuck on. You just let your imagination create the character and then, suddenly, it gets easy to choose what colors or poses or whatever. It makes it more enjoyable too, because you get attached to each drawing and it's like a new friend coming to life each time you draw or paint. All the best art has a story behind it. Landscapes, busts, anything! And when you see it, you can really tell the artist had alot of fun making it. You could also try doing requests? You'll attract alot of watchers because people like free stuff and they'll make up the characters for you.
