I think this this going to drive my mate crazy. Since she moved from New England to SC to be with me, she misses snow something fierce! Everyone around gets it but her, even in places where it never snows!

They pushed back classes an hour because it snowed... that makes me laugh. The ONLY reason they'd ever postpone or cancel classes up here in NE is if the road conditions are hazardous enough that coming to school would mean risking imminent death. So like... if there was snow, but also freezing rain and lightning with high winds. Or maybe if you couldn't push you door open because it was blocked by huge drifts or something.

That's so cool! No chance for that here, it's going to be 68F today. I've never had a snow day either, always sounded like fun.

I want your temp D:!! It's 16 and we have tons of freaking snow (and I'll give it to you in exchange for your weather!)

You still have it better than me. I've got hip-deep snow and a high temp of 1.

*laughs... and I just got letter from an old student in Seattle - and they were out for snow... 8 inches in a place that seldom sees snow ever.

Our classes got scrapped entirely ... and the end result was flurries. You have to love how coastal Virginians freak out over snow.

Live a winter in Wisconsin, and you'll understand. It's NORMAL to have hip deep snow, and NORMAL to have negative temperatures. The high for today? 1. We're usually sick of snow by the end of December. And here, it lasts until March. Sometimes April.

Wow, that is some serious snow. Some of the northern transfers around here were like "oh no snow!" but we told them to quiet down and let us enjoy this extremely rare event You could send some of it our way!
