Surgery

I figure, why not share.
I have been in surgery today and have recently been placed in the ward.
The surgery was to correct an issue I have had for over 10 years. Hopefully it will be permanently fixed.
As for what was done... Lets say it is a guy thing.
Anyhoo. Doing good and should be home tomorrow. I've been ordered on bed rest as walking is, at present, a damn near impossibly.

This surgery isn't as bad as when I had my leg operated on. But still not pleasant.
Sorry to hear you have the issue with your foot.
And OMG that icon! So cute.
I don't know if you've been through surgery before, but if not: it's possible you'll have some really bad pain for a little bit sometime during the first or second day. If so, it should not last long, don't fear.
Unfortunately, it sounds like you can't elevate the spot, which in my experience is the quickest way to alleviate it.
This is the third time I've had surgery. This time around I would place as between my first and second in terms of pain but closer to my first. That was having my appendix out. The second was me getting a broken leg fixed with a tibial nail. That one sucked.
But yeah, minor after pain but I have been given a good drug. Helps sleep.
