One year and 7 months ago I met someone on twitter who from day one had the most positive impact on my life. It started with simple helping me overcome problems with friends, since my anxiety shut me down. But as time progressed, things started to change. Drifted apart for a little, maybe a month or two. I'm not sure what changed, but eventually we started talking again ... With cute little phrases and actions to each other.

Then I asked him the question. It was a hesitant yes because he was never asked before. But a yes nonetheless was a yes. So one year ago today my life changed in the most positive and amazing of ways.

We made it a habit of calling nightly. Felt it secured our bond.
Call after work, saying goodnight, making each other smile.
Then we met for the first time in the City of Brotherly Love (Philly) where we shared an amazing experience together bonding under the stars by that tree next to the lake. Cuddling for our first time, sharing that kiss. :)
Our connection only got stronger as the days went by. Come December I visited you at your home, where I fell in love with your lifestyle, mom, dog and ATV. So much so did I love it that you bought me a ticket to stay an additional week. - I am glad you finally finished the wall I painted for you :p.
Going home was tough. I always miss you when you aren't in my arms.
Our true selves were showing. My anxiety slowly going away, your shyness as well. Nothing was derailing what we had, because it was truely unique.
Come spring break you visited my family. Probably had a culture shock that my relatives are 400 miles a part, that people don't barge in whenever they please x3. It was great taking you to Wegmans and having lunch. And just having the time to show you how I live and being able to spend time with you.
Finally at anthrocon - your first convention and my largest - we took our own little vacation together. You got snugged by fluffy derps, including me, and smiled so much at all the excitement around us. We walked the city a few times, experienced day and night, ate at a few of the worst McDonalds in history and celebrated the 4 the together. We made awesome new friends like hornet and jake lioner and Lockford and essentially everyone we met.

Which brings us to this special day. Because one year ago this day you said yes to me. And one year ago I never expected to have as much fun in my life as I have with you. I cannot wait for what our future holds, because I know it is going to be full of love, laughs, and smiles. Some say true love doesn't exist. But I believe and know it does. Because I found you :')
