Tablet and Photoshop basics.

General
So I recently got a book on Adobe Photoshop CS4 from my very informative library and started delving into the basics of using Photoshop and most of it's no-brainer stuff that I already know so far BUT there have been some very informative tid-bits which I did NOT know about that will be EXTREMELY helpful to me in the future. Only a quarter of the way through the book and already I'm feeling more confident with the tools and now at least I have an understanding of the basics that I didn't before. I also started to fool around with the tablet a bit and am pretty impressed with what it can do though I already have an unsteady drawing hand and have been using the mouse for so long that it's going to take a lot of mucking about to even see if I get any more than squiggles with the thing. So far I've practiced with some of the brush presets and line spacing and... now I'm droning on about stuff nobody wants to read about... Long story short *I'm learning.* Also I think it's nice to have journals that are more than just plugs for art, asking for money or portals to express rage and self pity. That's all I've been seeing recently and personally I like to see just updates on how people are doing in the day to day too. RAMBLING. Anyhow hopefully I can learn a lot more from the rest of the book and show improvement in both the speed and quality of my work in the future.

OP
In case anyone's wondering I had to return my book to the library. I plan to take it out again very soon.
