...calm the hell down...

When I have more work to post, I will post it here.
Despite the professional gallery shows and other life events, I do not consider myself “above this” website, or it’s viewers.
I didn’t think it necessary to say this, but apparently some fear rejection so much, that a simple absence from certain online areas automatically equals egotism and aloofness.
There are several professionals here. There are several viewers and fans here who have professions higher than mine. That reality can’t escaped me, so I don’t want to hear anymore bullshit rumors making their way back to me about my motives for not posting! Whatever fears of artists or judgement you might have, they’re your fears, not my problems. See to it that it stays that way.
When I have more work to post, I will post it here. :P

It's also none of my business where an artist/writer/etc appears online, nor how much interaction they have with anyone there.
Do whatever you wish and I'll continue to appreciate your work (and would happily commission you).
I always love seeing new work from you, but when ever you do is fine by me.
Really? O.O
Whoever is doing that, that is so incredibly rude. Artists are not servants, and if they're not getting paid for what they're posting, they're not on a deadline. Sweet cheese, what is wrong with some people?
I mean, I missed you but I've seen your work. I know how good it is, and I figured you were just busy with an art job offline or other real life concerns. No different than a lot of folks I watch. You are providing wonderful art that everyone gets to see for FREE. No one has any right to make any demands on you in regards to that. I hope you told them where to go--nicely or otherwise.
*shakes her head and huffs*
But they are either trying to help, or they're making it up and using fake proxies to support their need for attention.
Misguided or needy, either way, I can't be mad at them.
But I can say in general, I don't want my e-mail tied up the kind of drama I left behind in high-school.
FB is painful sometimes, but it's a necessary tool for the art community in my cites.
One person does not speak for the 1,000 just twiddling thumbs.
95% of the people around here are cool by me.
good thing the rumours are rare. then again they are, obviously, the one bad apple in the crate.
But seriously, it sucks you catch flak for that. I hope the naysayers calm down.
Hey, this comment got dark fast. My point was -- I feel your pain.
