The Bartender's Pin-Up Book
An idea occurred to me and Twitter pounced on it like a horny fox so I'm gonna post this here and see what response I get :)
A Book Of Cocktails. Or perhaps cocktails? I'm estimating a half-page size (8.5x5.5" or 4.25x11"), each page laminated (so drink spills won't do it any damage), the book wire-bound for easy access. Each page would feature:
• A recipe for a mixed drink
• A pin-up
Originally this was gonna be PG-13, but then I realized...you're mixing drinks and drinking said drinks, why the hell shouldn't there be porn? So technically the pin-up may involve several characters (Sloe Comfortable Screw, anyone?). This would definitely be an adults only kind of project. Hooray alcohol!
So, after a bunch of folks on Twitter expressed interest (hi, guys!) in being IN the book, I've posted this here to get a list and see if adding a price (boo hiss, I know) negates any interested parties. Basically, for one cost, you'll get a sexy pin-up of your character AND a copy of the book. I think $40 is fair for this (it's actually lower than my normal commission costs because you're giving me permission to sell pin-ups of your character), but I'm also willing to hear negotiation on price -- just please don't suggest "Free."
If you're interested, please comment here! You can include your drink name/recipe, and a reference of your character (and any pose specifics you're interested in; otherwise you're leaving it up to me).
I'm estimating this book to be about a dozen pages, including a few of my own characters, but I am willing to make it larger if there is enough interest! Feel free to link friends to this post if you think they will be interested!
PLEASE know that this is NOT a free project right now, so please do not suggest your character/drink unless you are willing to pay the cost mentioned.

The idea is pretty much a play on the 1950s-style luau stuff. So, think lei, Hawai'ian shirt, tiki stuff. And then make it all burlesque and/or smutty and/or whatever~

I'm totally down for this. Would love to be part of a pinup, perhaps in period (un)dress, for an Old Fashioned. As for refs, I've got http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4814747/ and for a less safe than work ref http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6709839/. I can also supply more.
Ooh...Blue Hawaiian, maybe? That would work unless someone has a more fitting idea for me. Definitely a beach drink, so a beach/bikini pic would probably fit! Probably a not-entirely-properly-fastened bikini, given the nature of the book and how much I like being a tease ;)

New(f)port Cooler:
1 1/2 ounces of gin
1/2 ounce of brandy
1/2 ounce of peach liquer
Dash of lime juice
3-5 ounces of ginger ale
Pour all the ingredients but the ginger ale into an ice filled Collins glass. Top with the ginger ale and stir gently.
As for pinup theme, thinking some Cape Cod, Long/Rhode-Island/New England Coast themed with Devin, my Newfoundland Dog character.
The drinks I'd probably lean towards recipes for, since *some* raccoon already got dibs on the Old Fashioned ;)
Satan's Whiskers:
3/4 ounce gin
3/4 ounce dry vermouth
3/4 ounce sweet vermouth
1/2 ounce orange juice
1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
1 dash orange bitters
Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Sidecar:
2 ounces brandy
1 ounce Cointreau
1/2 ounce lemon juice
Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.
(Likewise, if Satan's Whiskers is just you and the Sidecar is you and Gravecat, we can figure out pricing on that :) )
I'd love to do this, provided I get something like "reasonably tastefully saucy nude" or "seductive and implicative but not outright porny", possibly with a slight aspect of shyness. My weasyl is here: https://www.weasyl.com/~cobaltmouse A relevant (old) ref is here: https://www.weasyl.com/submission/482118/shucks and a text ref is here: http://characters.openfurry.org/description/50
As for the drink...maybe a mulled wine? Something very fruity and very sweet without being excessively "weak".
Naturally, a nice studly donkey anthro 'pouring' a shot into a shaker would be the image, yes? Heheheh. I want to see this. Count me in.
Donkey Semen recipe
1 1/2 oz Malibu® coconut rum
2 oz sweet and sour mix
2 oz soda water
Put 4 ice cubes in shaker. Add ingredients. shake well and serve in a margarita glass. Garnish with lime.
6% (12 proof)
Serve in: Margarita Glass
.5 oz midori
.5 oz everclear
1 oz white rum
1 oz tequila
1 oz triple sec
Splash of grenadine
Carefully fill with Pepsi or other desired cola - the goal is to get a gradation of near black to black instead of mixing it together initially.
Serve in large beer mug and garnish with orange slice. Stir before consuming.
I don't remember much after inventing this, but it tasted great. It's called "Midnight"

Balsamic Martini - There are a few recipes out there, but many of them are highly complex, though I prefer one of two.
Here is a classic and fairly simple one that does assume need a proper bar and fresh fruit to work with:
http://www.diffordsguide.com/cockta.....lsamic-martini
Here is my personal balsamic martini recipe that is even more simple, meant to be served as shots that end up looking like cloudy coca-cola:
Rinse the shot glass in water, place in freezer upside down until frosted
1/2 shot chilled vodka
1/2 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar
4 drops (yes, drops) lemon or lime juice
Taste when prepared right is very neutral, no 'bite' at all from the vodka then suddenly a burst of raw warmth as it goes down.
Sign me up. :) So many favorites I could give you. So many rums to explore.
How about a good ole' Hurricane
Seems pretty appropriate for a Key Deer, too!
For the drink, I would Purple Rain. A recipe can be found here: http://blog.minibardelivery.com/blo.....-the-rain-away

Feel free to do 80s stuff with it if you'd like. I'm pretty open. If you have questions, just let me know.
1 oz lemon juice
2 oz simple syrup
3 oz gin
Mix together, add seltzer to taste. The drink has an interesting history, and is fantastically refreshing on a hot summer day.

Thanks! Looking forward to it! If you feel that there are too many gin drinks, I can pick something else.
For the drink, I think the Vesper:
3 parts gin
1 part vodka
0.5 parts Lillet
Shake, serve with a twist of lemon peel.

Hopefully you don't mind if I draw you in a suit, James Bond style :D
References for Peri are here: https://www.weasyl.com/submission/6.....peri-ref-sheet and https://www.weasyl.com/character/20692/peri-llwyn
For a drink, I'm thinking a classic: the sazerac http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sazerac , though if someone else has claimed that, another New Orleans classic, the Grasshopper http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grasshopper_(cocktail), would also work.
No limits on the art, though something with a bit of New Orleans charm would be awesome for either drink ;)
The drink I'm looking at is the frozen mudslide. (What a shock, huh?)

I usually prefer to add whipped cream and chocolate syrup to mine. :9

With the drink being a classic Manhattan! http://www.drinksmixer.com/drink580.html
Thanks for the concern! I'm PRETTY SURE I have it covered -- I have a very nice binder punch already, though I may invest in a second laminator (I got mine on eBay for cheap and it's served me well for several furry cons). Also, each page will probably be double-sided on a nice card stock, since I got so many takers! I also have a phenomenal amount of free time; this project will basically be my income for August, assuming I can get it all drawn by the end of it.
I'm sure I'll be cursing my current optimistic self who's going "Eh, laminating and cutting/punching/binding 500-some pages will be EASY" come September ;) We'll see how I feel once I get all the art drawn!
