Hi folks! Next week I'll be preparing for surgery, which is scheduled for the 11th. After surgery I don't know how long i'll be on bed rest so I can't say how long i'll be gone, but the least I'll maybe be able to do some GENIEE's till I know how much i'm up for sitting at the computer for long periods of time.

I don't normally like to go into detail about health issues or problems, but I figured i'd give you guys a heads up in case I seem out of it/cranky/more depressed than usual?

I've had health problems regarding my female organs for sometime. TMI here, but my monthly cycle actually lasts any where between 2 to 3 weeks, and recently up to a month.

Up until now, doctors couldn't find anything, but then  arghhh put me on his insurance and I got new doctors. THESE doctors found something. Turns out that my ovaries are covered with cysts and the most recent development is a polyp in the lining of my uterus.

We don't know if it's benign or malignant, but we did blood tests for ovarian cancer to see if I was predisposed to it considering my moms history with cancer, and it came back negative. However, there's still the polyp IN my uterus.

They're not testing it because with all the problems i'm having, i'm just going to have a full hysterectomy and have everything removed and treated with hormone replacement. They'll test the polyp once the uterus is removed and determine if it's cancerous or not.

Once I heal from that, I then have to go get more tests done in other regions, also involving cancer, but hopefully none will be found and i'll just be minus my lady organs!

So, if i'm sparse, snappy, sad, or just not myself, it's because i'm pretty stressed about all this and just don't really want to let loose on folks.
