The CGI on the SpongeBob Movie...

...LOOKS AWESOME! I don't know what's everyone's problem!!!
I don't know how they achieved such a thing, I think it has something to do with the way they move, but the 3D characters look lively and they look exactly like their 2D counterparts, takes me back to things like Space Jam, with cartoon characters looking right at home on the real world, while keeping their own style.
I guess it must have something to do with the original creator being called back!

I don't get it too. I mean, I am not a fan of S.B anymore but the CGI looks really nice and it's smart to give it a soft effect on them than trying to make them look ALL HD and shit. :T

OP
I don't watch that much Spongebob anymore...but if this one's gonna be as good as the first one, then count me in! That's one of my problems with the Smurfs movies and recently the TMNT movie...they don't do any effort to keep the original style of the characters, but these looks just like their cartoon counterparts, down to the animation style and movements.

I take my SpongeBob in small, measured doses... but yes, I've seen the CGI and it looks... well, like SpongeBob.
