2, I'm looking for information on proper cleaning methods on cleaning a Fursuit, I was never given proper washing instructions and would appreciate some simple tips
3, I may be bringing back grumpy god as we have a willing artist to do it, and why not? People love a grumpy wolf who noms things

1. Don't be afraid.
2. Don't do anymore work or make things more complicated than you have to.
In between (like while at a con) I'll spray it down with Febreze. Afterwards, it gets washed IN A WASHNG MACHINE. (See #1 and #2 above.) Turn bodysuit inside out, hand paws I just throw in as is, wash in cold water with a cold water detergent (like Tide Cold Water) on a gentle cycle. Every few times or if they get dirty, I'll throw in the tail and feet just as they are too. Otherwise I'll just spot clean the tail and feet mostly just wiping down the bottoms of the feet. Dry everything well after (LYING FLAT, do not hang a wet bodysuit on a hangar) in front of a fan. I'd recommend getting one of those drying racks for about $20 from Walmart or Canadian Tire. Head is usually spot clean only. You can get a teddy bear cleaner at Build A Bear for about $10 if you need it. (Most of the time you won't.) Otherwise I've carefully hand washed parts like the neck fur when it gets dirty. Dry it well after in front of a fan. Once everything is dry, brush it out.
You have claws, right? If they're silicone it shouldn't be a problem, but if they're resin and you are concerned you can put the hand paws and feet inside something like a pillowcase in the washer.
That's pretty much it. Most importantly remember #1 and #2. Hand washing a suit in a bathtub is a lot more effort and you'll have to work a lot harder at it to get it as clean as it will come out of the washing machine. If you have any specific questions, let me know. :)
I've had a lot better results with the fans though since they can move a lot more air quickly and dry things faster. I think it would take more than 10-15 minutes in the dryer though, since it takes longer than that with heat to dry my regular clothes. Also, have heard horror stories where the heat settings accidentally were turned on.
the reason i suggested it was because a suit maker suggested it to me. she probably uses different materials
