I enjoy science fiction and psychological thrillers for genre. As for what you should write? Anthropomorphic science fiction with plot twists would be awesome and also play to your strong suits of creativity IMHO.

Not a porn, I agree, but toss some tasty tid bits in there. Some vore, TF, you know what ever, some sexy little morsals to tease us with while we read a serious story XP I've always loved sci-fy stuff
