Are you scared, offended, amused..? I'll accept any opinions, but I'll also share mine.
I am offended. Even though I do not live in Germany, nor am pure German, I am the classic Aryan with about 75% pure German in me. If I were a real German, non-Aryan, I'd find this even more offensive. I get it... it's supposed to be funny and cute. But in all honesty, past the initial "lol wtf" moment, this is actually pretty disgusting.
I hate to rant about this, but this kid, white, Aryan, stereotypical German boy, robotic, kicking in the door like a damn Nazi... Not to mention, on top of making fun of Germans, it also makes fun of the accent and the way it is spoken (the commercial's text). I'm not trying to put a damper on anyone who thinks this is funny... but you know damn well that if it were depicting a little black boy who looks like he just came from an old plantation handing out fried chicken or watermelon candies, it would immediately have to be taken off the air.
No, I forgot, it's okay to make fun of the Germans.. because they totally were never suppressed nor taken advantage of.. this is fucking disgusting.

But on the other hand that commercial is a lil creepy to me when your not fully awake and see that happy grin boy at your table lol
however, ive always felt that this comercial is a little bit disturbing based on how they had that german kid portrayed. they definitely should not have gone with the blonde.hair blue eyed chiled in the first place. second, his outfit. that is a stereotypical /german/ outfit... but only in the mountain regions. people didnt wear that all over germany. only select parts. so that is also a bad part of the commercial. my family is also german. i dont think this commercial should have been on the air.
