getting a tablet

Well, I've finally gone and bought a drawing tablet so that I can learn to become as good as some of my favorite artists. The one I'm getting is right here: Monoprice 10x6.25
It's going to arrive sometime next week. I could have it arriving sooner, but the shipping costs would make it cost about the same as if I purchased it on Amazon if I did that. Once I have it, I'll take some time to set it up and experiment with it on my own. And then I'll start to draw some pictures with it. Likely landscapes at first, as I have more experience with them, but I am planning on learning to draw characters as well. If anyone would like, I can try to draw a landscape, background or other such thing for them. I include planets and maps under this category, but just be aware that it's going to be more difficult if you already have a specific design for a map or planet in mind, as I've mostly drawn maps so far by just seeing where the pencil takes me. I'm not charging for this, as it's mostly to improve my abilities so that in the future I will have the skills to make at least a little bit off of this hobby of mine. If someone -really- wants to pay for what I make them though, I'll give them the details. (At most at my current juncture I'd probably charge $5 for something I drew, colored thoroughly, and added small details and shading to. But again, I'm not actually charging for this.)
thanks to
monochromeagent for giving me a brand to look for and some tips on drawing and stuff. Perhaps I will draw something just for him.
