So I've been seeing more and more artists using Patreon. From what I've gathered it's a way for fans to regularly donate to artists so they can continue to work on art or for specific projects. In return they get access to whatever the artist sets as tiers; like linearts, discounted commissions, etc etc.

Seems like a flexible way for both sides to help support an artist at the price they feel comfortable with but I'm viewing this as an outsider really. My only experience has been limited to some commission works, and I've no clue if I'm popular enough that ppl would like to donate to me so I can keep drawing.

So I'm just curious followers if you have had any experience with it and what you think about the service. If you actually use it yourself I'd be interested to hear how it works for you.

I would also be curious if ppl would participate if I used Patreon as well.
