Being 35 years old myself, and having been in the fandom for sixteen years now, I'd dearly love to know where the dividing line is, too.

Because, my goodness, but this fandom already makes me feel old sometimes. I've got people watching me who are almost young enough to be my kids!

My point exactly, lol! The youngest in my group is 15 >.<

I use it about age myself. I'm a grey muzzle age wise. Only been in the fandom about 8 years though, so I'll never catch up to people like Megan, but maybe after 15 or 20 I'd start calling myself a grey muzzle for length of time.

Oh...and I don't think anyone is a grey muzzle age wise till they've hit 50 or 60, depending on the person.
