I got The Call about my mom from my sister today (who in turn got it from the nursing home). I'm headed into WA tomorrow and will be back when I need to be back.
EDIT: She hasn't died; we're waiting on some test results to know whether organ failure is imminent or if she's likely to live for anywhere from 1-2 days or 1-2 months. But, she seems to be beyond the 'point of no return', and we're not expecting (however hopeful) for her to wake up.
