[UPDATE 8/17/2016]
Commission prices have been raised again, because I still was not charging enough to make them worthwhile. I will not be typing out my prices here though, because I doubt anyone will be seriously interested. In the case that you are interested, send me a note explaining what you'd like, and I'll give you a quote.
[END OF UPDATE]
I'm bumping up the price of my commissions a bit because I wasn't charging enough before to make it worth the time I spend on a piece. I'm still trying to keep them affordable though, since I'm not popular enough to charge an arm and a leg for art like all the big-name furry artists. Here's the updated pricing scale:
Prices start at $10 for lineart. Shading costs an additional $10, color another $10, and $5 for a background (I don't usually do complex backgrounds, but if you want something less simple, we can negotiate it. No background means the finished piece will either have a transparent, white or one-color background.)
One character fully colored and with a background costs a total of $35 (10+10+10+5).
Adding additional characters costs $5 for lineart, plus $5 for shading, and another $5 for color.
Lineart of two characters costs $15 ($10+$5.) A fully shaded and colored piece with two characters with a background would cost $50 ($10+$5+$10+$5+$10+$5+$5.)
