Hi all,
Yes, I'll be at Eurofurence this year, sharing a room with Giza. I arrive on Wednesday 20th and leave on Monday 25th. For any other information, consult my previous "convention meme" journals. :)
If anyone wants to meet up during the convention, just let me know!
I plan to get a temporary German SIM for text messaging and Internet connectivity during the convention. One use case is texting me to arrange meetups or joint meals. ;) I'll update this journal with my new number as soon as it's operational.

Hmm... Maybe the NFC roommate conundrum I was pondering earlier today isn't a conundrum, after all... ;)
I would estimate that NFC is probably a 70% chance or better at this point, since there's a high probability that I'll be spending a few weeks in Denmark in the early spring right around that time (before I actually move there for real that summer). I should know better in a few weeks. Should things work out I'd certainly be happy to room with you again!
I'd be happy to room with you again as well, and a 70% payout chance with returns in a few weeks is something I'm willing to bet on! I'll hold my NFC room spot in anticipation of further word from you, and hope for a favourable outcome. :)
I'll keep you posted about NFC! Just poke me if it starts to be a situation where you need me to commit and I can try to accelerate my planning. At the moment I'm trying to finish figuring out all the abovementioned complex 2014 travel; when that gets done I can start to think about 2015! :D
Good luck figuring out your itinerary! There's no time pressure at all at the moment.
How about we touch base again in early October, to see where things stand then? (We can also make it later, should you prefer that.)
