Not actually dead, just stuck!

HEY everyone, I know Pomf has seemed dead for a long time now, sorry about that.
Both me and the other half of Pomf ended up finding jobs in a stale soul-draining office, which didn't even last a year before we were too miserable to continue, we've since quit and are working on getting Pomf back up and running.
We would have been putting out things sooner, but we've run into quite the speed bump. Since fitted mesh is nearly standard now (and we're excited about it! No more making and uploading multiple sizes! Mostly.), we got the new skeleton and tried rigging our first fitted piece. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working and we've literally been trying for weeks to figure out why. Once something is rigged and ready for upload, it acts like it has no rigging at all in SL. We've looked to make sure that all of the bones are named correctly, none were modified from the original. All the right boxes are checked, but still nothing. Once we get that fixed, we'll be back up and running.
If anyone has any clues as to why the new skeleton would act like this, please let us know. Also if you find a link to an UPDATED or DIFFERENT skeleton (with the fitted mesh bones), let me know so we can try it, I can't seem to find one.
