well i got a handle on it i think just played a vs ai game and only died once

Bots are a good start but vs players is totally different. Just remember to stay near your minions to avoid damage from other minions. Buy items frequently and returning to base heals you, so if there is downtime return. I don't have much experience with ashe but I have been playing soraka a lot as support so if you see support hero's try to stay with them.

No but in all seriousness consider that playing agressively is good but avoid death if it can be helped, watch out for the grass and keep placing down wards.

lol well so far i think i like playing ranged characters i did pretty awesome as Ashe though i like the look of a few of the assassin type melee fighters, but those are just the types of characters i liked to play in mmo's and video games, high damage quickly but squish

Some of the best advice i can give, is ignore chat. League has a pretty bad community sometimes, especially when you are new.

yes i heard the community can be a massive group of jerks, luckily the friends that convinced me to play are jerks i know, and can punch in rl

thats good. the game can be pretty boring when you play by yourself :p
