I once had a tape player names Arlo....
Who wants to draw my character in a Kirkland's uniform, with a sweat drop down my forehead, as I try to explain something to three customers?
I literally had to explain to them that we can only put at most, two discounts on the same transaction. THey can either be A) military discount and 10% discount or B) K-Card and military discount or even C) Military discount and 10% off $50. No. This woman got her mom's phone and tried to get two 25% off coupons. I stood there for literally 25 minutes while they just stayed there, trying to get this picture frame and two candles. The picture frame's original price was $20; they got it on clearance and STILL wanted a sale + clearance + two or 3 coupons, and I'm having to explain to them how we can't do it. After that I was 10 minutes late to clock out and then I just went home.
As I was going home, someone in a brown van stopped RIGHT BEFORE a 1/4 mile (about 400 meters) long merge lane FOR OUR LANE. I screamed so loud in the car he looked back and drove off, then blocked me. The police were pulling over a person on the opposite side of the road when this was unfolding. I cut back around him and sped off, which was funny because the roads were wet and I spun tires in 3rd gear already going about 40 mph. I never saw flashing lights. My ex got an EAR FULL on skype though. I don't think he's ever seen me that irate before, and he's known me since 2009. Yeah..... I now know why canines howl. They are so tired of people's bullshit that they just want to scream to get it out of them.
