been a while since i've given much of an update around here, and i figure its about time i give a general update about myself.

So yeah, things didn't work out with the mate and i left Palm springs. From there i stayed with my uncle for a couple months, landed an engineering job rather quickly and began work in January.

Got my own apartment in Atascadero, CA, in March. Mother had some stuff going on in her life, leaving her to stay with me untill medical stuff was sorted out, she left at the start of August. So now i can finally try the lonely life of having my own place with no family or roommates to bug me.
Last weeked I tested the waters of the Fesno fur-meet. Not many people that time, but i still had fun. Might end up going every month or two.

As for my work, I'm finally getting to use my degree and do something I enjoy for the most part. Work is mostly fun, people are cool and nice. Only downside is that i keep getting delayed for my post-probation raise; I've been working for 8 months now and i was supposed to get a raise 90 days in.

And for the reason that sparked this journal in the first place: offishally becoming a shark. I've been a shark on secondlife for about 2 years now, figure its about time to reflect that here. Also, my birthday is coming up this thursday (august 21st), I'll be turning 22.
