Help me fund a servicedog!
I'm so sorry but for now I'll just copypaste my info from my gofundme, I'm really tired. ♥
"Hi there!
First of all, thank you so much for taking your time looking at my page. My name is Hannah and I'm an 18 years old student (not fulltime and studying a lot from home due to medical problems..) in Sweden. I live and suffer with fibromyalgia (chronic pain), aspergers syndrome, ADD, chronic depression and anxiety/panicattacks to mention a few things. I can't do a lot of things healthy persons can do. On bad paindays I can't even get out of bed, and even when I can I have to deal with lots of chronic pain and fatigue as well as my other problems. I am far from independent, I take someone with me wherever I go, I ride disability cab instead of public transportation, I study a bit from home, I have lots of help from psychiatrics, doctors and homeaid. While Sweden has "free healthcare" a lot of things will still cost you, which isn't easy when you're on a student's income.
Now to the goal with this funding...
I want to be able to get a servicedog to help me become more independent and make me able to do things normal people can. The dog would learn how to retrieve named objects for me, pick up things i drop (I drop things without noticing it a lot), pick up things from the floor, open drawers, support my balance, open lids (like the one on the trashcan i usually can't reach myself). Except for these great tasks it would also provide me warmth (soothes the pain a lot), security, independence, make me exercise more (which is really though to get yourself to do when you're dealing with this pain but it helps in the long term!) and enable me to do a lot of things I can't now.
Here you have to fund serivcedogs yourself and they cost a lot due to being uncommon here. Every little bit helps, really. Thank you so much for reading!"
Love you all
(seeing how many servicedog-scams have gone around fA lately i might take this down..)

Have you looked to see if your government has any grants or other financial help to get a service dog? I know here in the USA some states do have financial aid to help, Sadly my own state does not so my husband and I have to do it. You saw my new dog, I have been searching for one for the last 4yrs. I wanted a Papillon but could not find a reputable breeder in my area and since I live in an apartment most rescues won't approve me. Getting Diesel was a total fluke.
I hope Diesel will turn out to be a good SD (:
Oooh yeah that's old for a servicedog, I think most retire at 10?
;; least I can do.
