I have mocked up a pattern based on the concept of the bear. This will be a cuddly softie or plushie...it will not have the attached movable limbs, it will be more rag doll-ish....completely hug-able, lovable lion.

I'm really hoping it turns out. It will be a gift for a friend, in hopes that it will bring him some smiles during some sad times that have crossed into his path lately.
