Every had a game you hated? Ni no Kuni

Then when you picked it back up months later you fell in love with it? I had a experience like that with Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch. I played only a few hours before and died and lost my money I was so mad I didn't pick it back up until last Thursday. I started playing it and fell head over heals in love with it XD I was wondering if anyone else has had an experience like that?

I could hit nothing and died super fast every time.
Maybe half a year later I made my own class, instead of the premade ones.
I did way much better, and played it for a couple 100 hours with the same char.
