This is why I don't go to medical professionals unless there is extreme evidence that something is drastically wrong.

A lot of times, you end up out of money because hey, it's a minor thing in their eyes, and they really can't do anything to help!

Yet, in the reverse, everyone is different in a chemical sense, so if it hurt like fuck to a point where you thought something life threatening was emerging, I don't blame you.

my inner ears were so swollen the doctor couldnt even put in the thing to check one ear it hurt like she stabed me with a knife and she handt even touched me yet, and yeah i tend to not like going to doctors at all but i have insurance to cover it now so might as well use it when i actually need it *huggles*

Ah yes. The true purpose of insurance. Not as a means of paying for every fucking tiny little thing that goes awry, but to be a safety net for accidents (honest accidents-acts of stupidity need not apply) and health issues that get that intense.
