Grolar Vs. Wii Fit
So, I had the day off today and went out to visit a friend of mine, who recently just got the Wii. More than that she had the Wii fit game. When I dropped by there, her roommate and her kept talking about that game, thinking it'd be funny for me to start using it, considering I had just complained about having to climb 3 sets of stairs to get to their apartment.
So, after two games of tennis, 1 round of golf and a bout of baseball, I finally caved in and told 'em, "Alright, put the thing in." I don't know how many of you all have played it, but it is quite the rude game. Starting off, it ask for you to get upon the damn platform thing. I go to get up upon and the thing groans loudly, and I don't mean it groaned like a chair or couch would groan, the sound came from the tv as the thing actually groaning. Then it had me step off since I was 'fidgeting' and step on again, where it groaned yet again. After two more tries of that, it was satisfied with humiliating me, or so I thought.
Later, it starts to adjust your posture, ask for your height, age, etc then computes your bmi. So, my posture is alright, though it says I need to lean forward a bit, which doesn't work so well because of my weight. My back would ache constantly. Nothing too bad there. Then comes the height and age then BMI. So I input all of that data, then it computes my bmi, which was at like 32 or 33 something, which is obese. The thing actually threw it up upon the tv and started to go on saying obese, obese, obese, obese, right in front of everyone in the room. Whatever pride I had in the fact that I'm obese was kinda overshadowed by the fact that there were women in the room laughing and watching this whole thing occur. From that it said my 'actual age' is 29, which from what I was told, I did better than the two of them on that.
I think the makers of nintendo are trying the whole, "let's embarrass our audience until they want to lose weight route." Which for me doesn't quite work, but I was quite red while that thing kept flashing that about. On another note, I wonder what it does when you say you wanna gain weight.

Was it at least fun to play afterwards?
Strength exercises? I didn't know they did that?

Yeah, it's mainly stuff like push ups and junk.
Upper body strength is good. Though gotta make sure your gut doesn't touch the floor before starting the push ups. x3
