Morphicon 2015: Retro Gaming

We're having our annual Morphicon picnic again at the Sharon Woods Metro Park (rain or shine) on Saturday, September 20th, 2014 from 10am to 4pm! We'll have a large covered pavilion, food, games, and other activities. Come down to enjoy free hotdogs, hamburgers, and assorted
picnic-y goodness. There's no fee, just bring yourself, and be prepared to have a good time. Fursuits are encouraged, it's a great area to get out and go on a hike, or play around in the open space. Badminton and volleyball are a must. If you plan on showing up please RSVP and we'll add you to the list. If you plan on bringing some food to donate be sure to mention that in the email.

The weather may be a little chilly in the morning, so we strongly recommend long pants, and a jacket. If you have special dietary restrictions email us and we'll try to accommodate you as best we can. We're only going to bring Boca Burgers if someone asks for them!

Morphicon is honored to be acting as host convention for the Ursa Major Awards for the third time since the awards began in 2001. These award are intended to showcase the wide array and high quality of artistic talent in the furry fandom. The awards cover a range of media from film to magazines to games and websites. We are incredibly excited to have been asked to help with this year’s celebration and look forward to seeing you at the ceremony.

Morphicon 2015 will be presented in no small part by our guests of honor, Skulldog and Koh! Skulldog is a prolific artist in digital and traditional media whose comics build worlds of wonder and intrigue. Koh is a master of the digital soundscape, whose talents we are eager to have join us in assistance with our Retro Gaming theme! More on both of the guests of honor will follow soon.
