At least I -like- MLP, and I don't really get involved in the fandom.
But with FNAF it's like "This game isn't worth all the attention you're giving it, stoooopppp." ;-;

Eh, you only get jump scared if you lose. It's a nice atmospheric horror game, that has come out in a time of nothing but slender remakes and bad horror games. It's a good game, however, like with most things people overdo it and ruin it for others with their passion for it. Basically furries ruin everything.

I just.. the game isn't even frightening unless you're afraid of animatronics, everything is rather predictable.
Hell, you can get through a good portion of the game without being attacked just by checking the doors every few seconds instead of looking at the cameras.

The only things that are potentially scary are the garbled wannabe-Satan voices you start hearing and MAYBE the flickering almost subliminal message pop-ups.
And I'm a huge pussy when it comes to scary things and horror games.
The game feels like it's from the early days of CG when everything looked grungy and kind of "slimy/greasy", and I'm not a fan of that.

I just really think people are giving it A LOT more credit than it's worth. x.x

Well sure that strategy works if you don't want to make it past the second night and die to foxy constantly. Foxy was designed to stop you from camping thr doors, and Freddy was made to stop you from keeping the doors closed for too long, well aside from the power usage. The game is a bit better designed than you are giving it credit for

I've refrained from watching playthroughs and reading reviews. I've based this all off of watching my boyfriend play the game and we both dislike it. He got through 3 nights just watching the doors and only occasionally looking at the cameras (like 2-3 times during the night), and it felt like things only happened when he looked at the cameras, like the events were triggered off of the cameras. The only one we saw was the bunny one who would come up to the door every now and then.

Nights 1-3 are a tutorial basically. Night 4-7 are much muuuch tougher
