I'd be glad to help out but I don't know what the room situation will be like for us. So far I only have a single king bed room reserved with a request in for twin double bed room, and I don't know if Chubbs' roomie will be attending with us. Once I find out some more information, if it looks like we have room and she still needs a place to crash I'll pass along the invitation.
I'll have to review current room situation and spot availability. Also have to talk with my mate as she is a bit less trusting of strangers... though you say "she" so my mate may be a bit more accepting. I'll keep this in mind.
Bout the only con I can afford (???) is AC, but after this year’s AC I might be looking around for another one to be my yearly con. It would indeed be nice to see you again. *hugs*
in 2010 - 2011 i began to feel that AC became to "crowded for the location and the lack of main hotel rooms for fursuiters, ( i can't stay ay a hotel blocks away as a fursuiter) also found it not fursuit really friendly as compared to the other big cons (Heat in July in Pittsburgh)
Midwest Furfest is almost as big in numbers (second largest in the world) but has a much better, larger convention hotel with a nicer layout, (1900 + rooms) and is more fursuit friendly with the cooler weather, making it my "main" yearly convention now. It would be awesome to see you again there. *hugs
I don’t mind the crowd at AC any more than I would mind the crowds at any other “people event“. AC in Pittsburg is rather like a furry Marti Gras -- what would it be like without the crowd of furries?
Totally agree with you regarding the “torture” of being a fur-suiter in any warm/hot summer location. However, where it would be comfortable for fursuiters to be outside a hotel and being active, it would be too cold for the non-fur-suiters to be outdoors.
I can talk to my room. but we are kinda partyers, so it may be loud.
Then when he/she gives up his/her room,
To another furry in need.
*ducks and runs*
