What were your first experiences with furries?

Waaaaaaaay back in 2006 I had picked up a fascination with opossums, and I believe it was while google image searching for them that I happened across then-MicahFennec's art on deviantArt. From there I discovered other furry artists like Hibbary as well as the concept of "furry". I created a dA account and started drawing and posting art & have been doing so on various websites ever since.

Not long after that I discovered a "teenfurs" forum that I frequented for a while and that's actually where I first met  jimmyrumshot, though I lost touch with him for a couple of years before meeting him again under different aliases.

That pretty much sums up the entirety of the first few years of my furry "Career"
