New update (idk if anyone even reads this)

So, hey. Tomorrow I start community college. I'm so excited but super nervous. I'm sure I'll do fine though.
I finally got a job too, I'm working at forever 21 in the mall. I don't like it much but the people I work with make it worth it.
My band kind of went down the shitter, but it won't be the end of me trying to make music. I'm just gonna keep trying and trying.
I'm trying to move out but my mother won't let me keep the car. Hopefully if I make enough, I can pay my own insurance.
I'm planning on moving to Florida by March to go live with my mates Tamin and Micheu. Hopefully plans go through.
Thanks for listening.

Take classes on finances, accounting, understanding banking. In this great america its one of the most must have skills to know how loans, interest, credit reports, 401ks, account management and how all that mumbo jumbo works. Its imperative to know that. It sucks to have to learn it on your own. IT SUCKS! its a seriously important thing to know and to know academically. Im a smart cookie, if i may say so myself, but I cannot keep up with all the bank policies, programs, accounting changes, tax processes, insurance options and sheeeiiiiit i pretty much had to learn the importance of keeping credit records up to date on my own the hard way. (meaning working my way up from the financial bottom of the barrel) Its not fun.
Its not a glamorous set of skills to have, but if you know how money, accounts, and financial information passes hands then you will be at a HUGE advantage over folks like me whom never had taken that time.
Also i really suggest taking classes in how your future degree translates to a job and business. How to apply for jobs, how to network for them. How to write resumes and all that. Talk to faculty alot outside of class on that topic. Again, conversations about this stuff will last a lifetime and will put you at a huuuuuuge advantage in the wide world.
once you are out on your own, you will be allowed no excuses if you don't know how it works.
Other than that! I hope you have fun! and yaaaay retail jobs! :P
sorry i just came across your profile. and i was happy to see this all in the journal so :D
good luck.
also yeah.... best way to avoid retail jobs... school career services usually can line you up with internships! :D
