Almost one year away from someone I love spending every moment with.
Months of slowly making plans to correct that.
One month of finishing up projects at work and home.
Last week at the best job I've had yet (but fully realize I need to leave eventually).
Just a few days left to spend with the friends I've made locally.
Decent bit of change coming up for me soon. Apologies I've been absent.
Hopefully Florida will be a neat, new, and awesome thing, but right now it all feels big and a bit scarey.

My wife's jobhunting, my best friend moved to the opposite coast. In both cases, it's clearly "a good thing," but the change associated with it's scary as hell. I think anyone who's ever been there before, themselves, completely understands.
I will try very hard to be one of the "neat, new and awesome things." I will not pretend for a moment that this mitigates all the scary, though.
I seem to clam up when I'm dealing with issues. Seeing what you've been going through and yet you keep going has been inspirational, and helps me pick myself up and keep trying. <3
You'll love Florida, though, trust me-- especially during the winter. It's a little crazy, and so are some of the natives, but it's unlike anywhere else.
Good luck with all this!
I am going to miss snow, and ice, and autumn (and I actually will, I love fall and winter). Do love me some serious t-storms though, so at least I'll get plenty of those down there. :)
Yes. Yes you will.
Also, watch out for the crazy drivers.
This has been more change than I was expecting, or, I was not as ready for how it would affect me? Either way, being back with Jess is immeasureably good, and makes all things possible and all problems less difficult.
