Being A Creepy Commissioner
Sometimes I worry that artists think I'm being a creeper if I commission them multiple times in a row.
It does make me happy to see an artist succeed, be that in getting more people watching them, more commissions, or being able to raise the prices of their commissions and still have the same success.
But at what point are you bothering an artist with commissioning them too much, and risk taking up space that someone else could have used and thus gotten the artist further exposure? Or, conversely, if you back off from commissioning them often, does it seem like you no longer support them?
It's tricky trying to strike the right balance between being supportive and being a pest. At least it is in my fuzzy sheepdog mind. :P

Something like that wouldnt bother me. In fact it would be a big compliment. A person wouldn't continue to commission an artist if they didnt really enjoy the work they were putting out. Most artists have different spots too, so they might limit if they really wanted others in. But generally, money is money. And returning customers are what artists want. It's someone they have a history with and a trust is built there from the successful dealings.
If I've learned anything from romantic comedies it's that you never communicate the simplest of issues, so that they turn into wacky misadventures, which will in turn lead to one or both parties feeling betrayed, followed quickly by reconciliation and then a happily ever after.
