As much as I say that in the description of my own works, journal and profile - the people who want to ask will, but the people who don't consider it and do it anyway won't bother (and there seem to be far more of the latter). So I just put a stamp and signature on my work, because whether they ask or not having my work be identifiable and 'trackable' back to me/my main site(s) is better in the long run. It may be a bit intrusive, but as my art is my identity and living... a reality that needs to be.

FB has no artistic coverage for artists, so hella no!

the "do not redistribute" mark has done wonders for me, I also have an additional watermark, so my works aren't easily cropped. I will be adding another in a few months.

I'm from the pre-internet age and it makes me cry to hear people really do things like this so much.......

Tumblr is a joke anyway. I'd be embarrassed to have art there, not upset. *^^*

I couldnt agree more. I've seen art of my character at other pages without sources. It kind of annoys me since I want the artists to get the credit for their art, and I dont want others to use my characters if they seem to be liking them. I know a lot of people on F-list use others characters for example.
