There's nothing quite as much fun as making something yourself, and seeing what you've created. Granted, that's a bit off yet, but my first batch of mead is in the fermentation bucket. In two weeks, it'll be transferred to the carboy, and then in two more weeks, bottled. So it doesn't seem like it'll be ready before AC, sadly.
That said, I'll try to bring a few bottles to whatever cons I attend so people can sample it, assuming it comes out any good. *Grin* New incentive for people to come say hello, I guess! Who turns down free drinks?
