The last journal I made was a while back when WeThePeople.gov had the "Legally recognize non binary gender identities" petition still open. It passed with over 100,000 signatures and finally, we received an answer. Basically, the door is cracked open, ever so slightly, for the tenacious non binary people to make an effort and challenge the various institutions that categorize us by using the rigid binary system. I'm not sure if I'm the candidate for such things but I would love to challenge the FL DMV myself to have an X or I or Other on my license. I'm ready for change.

Speaking of Florida, I run a Facebook group called "Non-Binary Florida". I'm working on trying to gather Florida's genderqueer, non-binary and NB transgender folks together so that we may all network and discuss important issues concerning gender identity. I also run two support groups in Tampa, Florida. I would love to see more folks join and gain insight from others.
