For those that aren't aware, currently there is a case going on in New Jersey involving a young single mother who was arrested because she carried a pistol into New Jersey. She made an honest mistake, as she thought her Pennsylvania LTCF was valid in NJ, and she was arrested during a traffic stop when she notified the officer she had a loaded firearm in the car.

Ms. Allen made an honest mistake. She's no criminal, and doesn't deserve the mandatory 5 years in prison the state is trying to force on her. She obtained her carry permit in her home of Philadelphia because she feared for her children's safety after problems in Atlantic County NJ in the past. The same prosecutor that just put that scum bag from the Baltimore Ravens in a "first offenders program" for knocking his wife out in an elevator is trying to make an example of Ms. Allen. New Jersey always seems to cater to the rich and famous, however when a person who works hard, and makes an honest mistake (who didn't hide it mind you, she notified the officer) has the book thrown at them as hard as possible.

Spread the word, help the fight for her as best as you can. As any of us here in the Mid-Atlantic know, New Jersey's insane, draconian gun laws MUST CHANGE, and they need to change now!
