Nonsense following.
I was reading Kyell Gold's Volle while waiting for my professor in his office at the university. He arrived and I was about to put the book back when he asked me what I was reading; I answered him a fantasy-espionageish novel and, as I was saying that he gestured me for the book. Unthinkingly I proffed him said book.
Just as he gave it back to me I realized "Wait, did I just pass my boss a furry gay romance novel?"
Just as he gave it back to me I realized "Wait, did I just pass my boss a furry gay romance novel?"
Something in the same vein happened to me once during a workshop correction.
I keep two identical sketchbooks in my backpack, one with my project research/sketches and another one for personal art (!) and observations.
Since I was nervous, I took out one without checking it and handed it over. My teacher opened it and fell silent, but he continued to browse through the pages, "Oh, I didn't know that you were a cartoonist".
In the end he only said that he found the "animal guys" pretty neat, but that they're not relevant for building a monastery.
I hope your personal sketchbook did not cointain drawings of saucy nature, that would have been really akward (it happened to me once), as well as less relevant to monastery construction, I fear.
Haha, actually... I had a couple of characters semi-naked, but I guess that I could get away with it since they were "fantasy drawings".
I have to agree with you in that, I wish more artists experimented with clothing/armors on anthros. That reminds me that I should get some actual documentation on traditional garments and armors/weapons.
