I Hate my Cat! Need Help with STUPID Cat!

Hello my darlingsMY CAT IS DUMB.
and like im not just being mean either he is LEGIT THE DUMBEST THING EVUUUUR.
my laptops hooked up to the tv because the laptop screen is broken, and is upside down on the floor because the fan is really bad and if it is right side up it will overheat quickly and die even with a book under it propping it up. there is a table in front of it with my keyboard and tablet on it which is what i use thats hooked up to the laptop so while sitting on the couch using the computer I cant see the computer unless I stand up.
My IDIOT cat likes to sleep on the laptop because its warm, my laptop overheats because hes blocking the fan and then it shuts off with no warning!
So today while finally almost finishing a commission, BAM. COMPUTER SHUTS OFF. i look over and THE STUPID CAT IS SLEEPING ON IT!
If I see him going over to lay on it I throw him off but he still does it, and sometimes hes sneaky and i dont notice.
So all the work from my commission today is gone. I didnt work on it too long, which is why I hadnt saved yet, but I was getting a good amount of work done in the time.
HOW DO I KEEP THIS IDIOT OFF OF THE LAPTOP FAN?!
he also likes to sleep on the PS3 when its on too!

ide prefer a mouse or hamster, im partial to rodents.
Like a warm spot they can sit on/in. Mine used to love sitting in my drawers cause it would get nice and warm. Then my cats learned the bed is most warm and would be there constantly, which was better then my computer but it was always out of reach from them.
That's another suggestion too, make it so the cat has no way to get it to. In my case my computer was always on a desk with no lower perch areas so they could jump on. even my chair was too high for them.
how do you keep them from scratching chairs without declawing?
Cats are like stubborn people you love. You love them but omg they're such a hassle sometimes. And they love you, they just get too wrapped in their feels.
as for clawing stuff, provide a scratching post and put some capnip on there and put cayiene pepper or vinegar on the no-claw stuff
and i guess ill put catnip on the couch XD we have a chair that we DONT want him to scratch and he wont stop and we have a torn up couch that is already scratched up by cats but he wont even touch it
have you had him sterilized? that may make a huge difference
