And thanks much for the compliments! =) I kinda accidentally developed a cartoonish style, though there are days I wish I could illustrate like a Wayne Reynolds or Reinaldo Quintero... and then I wish I could go to art school. =(

Well, it helps if you want to go professional. I can't figure out the techniques the pros are using to get their lines so clean and their shading so sharp.

It's probably a matter of taking twenty years to figure it out on my own, or going to school and having someone show me in four/six years. Of course, the school I'm looking at covers everything from oil painting to 3D animation and culminates with an internship to places like Pixar and Dreamworks, so that's the kind of "art school" I'm interested in. =p
