i had some Rules on my site somewhere about Requests and pet peeves...

let me put it this way, if your idea is unique or interesting i'll be glad to hear it out.
if you're looking for free art for your character, then the answer is no...

Also... from time to time i do post journals where i will take suggestions/requests from
friends/watchers...

problem is most of the people who suggest stuff are only looking for free art,
and their ideas aren't even that original. Also they don't have what i consider
" watcher credibility " - whats that you ask ?

well i've composed a loose formula to determine the "value" of a watch based on
how many FA Members the person watches, how active they are, and if they actually comment
and fave submissions, comments are worth MORE than Faves in my opinion.

Obviously if the person Watches you, but they are watching 3,000 other members their watch is
worth significantly less than say someone who is only watching 200~300 members.
because your submissions will be lost in a pile of updates that they will ultimately end up not looking at and nuking most of the time
anyway.

so that kinda plays a role in who i will take a request from/do gift art for.
the only way to overcome that is if i know you in person from a convention and
i consider you a friend, in that case you would get bumped back up to the top of the queue...

seems nit-picky but if you haven't noticed all of the artists on FA have their "schtik"
and have some random pet peeve or chip on their shoulder or bug up their ass...
this one happens to be mine, i guess its coming from a place of not feeling appreciated as an
artist... i feel like people don't " get " my art or really connect with it...
