The project I was asking for name suggestions for is close to go!
Sadly, my original name choice suddenly had a claimed website URL after mentioning it here, so I didn't mention my second choice until I was positive. So Paw Coins are now what they'll be called, my second choice.
Beyond that, the last couple weeks have been busy. I've been registering websites and accounts on furry art sites. I've been budgeting out the cost of advertising and researching online retail hosting. I've been setting up the basics of a Kickstarter campaign. I've ordered a couple of coins for that campaign already as incentives and am waiting on them from Taiwan (probably another two weeks) so you know I'm serious.
I contacted my favourite furry webcomic artists and while most of them did not answer, Bill Holbrook did, and after going through a bunch of legal stuff, he's on board with letting me use a Kevin and Kell design on a coin for the Kickstarter too!
A basic overview of the images and designs, as well as a bit more about how the coins will look when produced are here:

Too long didn't read: enamel-colour coins the size of a Sacagawea dollar or Loonie or 2 Euro Coin, with a hole at the top to allow them to double as pendants, inspired by challenge coins and pathtags.
I'll let everyone know when the campaign starts, but in the next couple of weeks, I'm leaving it out there that I would like other artists' designs, not just mine. This is PAID WORK, not for free, and pretty simple to do. It requires a strong command of linework and I can send the specs and so forth if people are interested.
If you're an artist, or you KNOW an artist you think would make interesting general - audience designs (pin-ups at worse) and especially if they have a name in the fandom that might intrigue people in the campaign, please contact me. I want to get designs together by the first week of October, because I want the campaign to start as soon as I get my promo coins and have designs to show on the site.
So, it's a very exciting and worrying time for me. Either this goes really well or this is a $500 boondoggle that I've thrown my money at, but I'm hoping the former!
Thanks for reading!

I was kind of half asleep when I made the post....

On that subject, I'd be fine with you using Calvin, if you wanted to.
