Car-buying is a living hell. >.<;

...guh.
Welp, I haven't updated in a while, and a LOT has been going on, so I figure I might as well type it out for those of you that are actually interested in my life.
Long story short, a few weeks ago I was driving home from UCF and was in a car wreck, totalling my mom's vehicle. The ruling was that the collision was my fault, and we didn't have collision insurance on the car, so that's making things really expensive.
Physically, I am 100% OK. I had a sore neck for about a week, a sore right hip, and a huge bruise on my knee, but all of those are 100% healed now, with the only remaining injury being a small scratch on my ankle (and even that's almost gone now).
However. This has made things very difficult on me as far as transportation and free time. :/ I'm paying about $60 a week in gas money for my dad to drive me to school and back (the one vehicle we had remaining is an SUV, which is a total gas guzzler), and this gives me no time to hang out after classes, or go anywhere outside of school. Most of my free time is sucked up into looking to buy a car for myself. Mom got a replacement car a couple days ago, but we've been having a few problems with it, so it's not extremely reliable at this point.
Finding a car for myself has proved to be one of the most stressful things; especially since I don't have all the time in the world to do so. It's been over 2 weeks since the accident already, and I still haven't found anything that's been a good deal for what I'm looking for (mainly because my parents want me to get something under 100k miles; and at a good price).
I've been really stressed out lately from all this, especially because the traffic school I have to take keeps making the accident replay through my head. I really just want this all to be over with so I can get back what little sense of independence I had. *sigh*
