What makes you a furry?

This is always a tough question for me. For me, I love the art. My characters are really just me in fur for the most part. I enjoy going to the conventions and hanging out with furs. I have never felt there is any one thing you have to be into, to be a furry. There is so many aspects. There is the art, fursuits, spiritual and then just no other place to fit in. I have met a lot of great connections over the years in this community.

I am a furry cause it is fun and make me laugh it also help me be creative times to with my music and what not people give me feed back and i use it to get better and try new things i also love messing about in my furusit and just acting goofy most the time when i am suit i act all grumpy just suits me baa baa

Yeah I agree, the fandom is definitely different things to different people. For me is the characters, stories, and that I feel like a cute lil foxy fits me very well

the connection u feel with the animal u call your fursona, whatever it can be, trough a fursuit, trough art, trough role play, music, etc. And of course the desire to belong to the fandom. I have met people that feel afinity with animals but they dont feel interested about be part of the furry fandom.
