Huzzah! It works again!

So there I was, just sitting in my room staring at my assumed-to-be-broken tablet. I picked it up and see if it there was some chance of making it work again, and to my surprise, it works! It took some bending of the wire and a rubber band or two, but hey it works!
But for how long, I don't know. I just know that for now, I'm back on track! I still intend to get a new one, cause last thing I need is for this one to crap out on me again...
~yay~

The same thing happens to head phones all the time. A damaged head phone on the outside may not looked ripped, but the inside's wire fibers may be damaged due to constant twisting and bending. You can never tell that the headphones are messed up until you can't hear from one of the buds. Then you have to set the wire to a position to get it working and any other angle will have the sound go out again.
I have heard that new tablet have detachable wires to prevent easy damage. And having detachable wires will be easier on the wallet, considering any damage to said wire, and you can just buy a new one rather than sending the whole tablet into repair.
My headphones have a 1/8" jack on the bottom, so there's no wire to rip out, and I can replace the cord with whatever length of wire I want. High-end Sony MDR headphones are awesome -- even if they did discontinue the model I really, really like. Why do companies always kill the products I like?!
