Dialogue and character development is the key to making the time between the big showstopping moments pop.
Let time between scenes set up the big moments.
Sure the guy who is blowing up a building and walking away from it is a badass.
Sure the guy who infiltrates an fbi headquarters to steal files without getting caught is awesome
Especially when he uses those files to break into a bank later..
But getting to know the characters and knowing why they do what they do is a big part of what makes what they did compelling.
Take the necessary steps to get from A to B and pepper it with insights into your characters.
You move the location/scene to where it needs to be while still writing meaningful additions to your story.
If there's still more "time", take the short cut and just say "A week later." Pepper in the necessary and move on.

Just keep in mind Bane that there is no need to work yourself into a brain dead stupor that is not good for anyone. Take a brake and do something fun I'm playing smash brother right now and it actually doing my work good.

I have taken your advice and have played a bit of smash, it allowed me to let the creative process flowing again.

see what did I tell you :3 I find that fighting games are very good at getting people out of a rut. But keep in mind that it needs to be technically demanding enough to have all your focus on it so you can forget about what was bothering you as well as fun & violent enough to work away built up monotony and frustration.

And that's why I suggested Smash brothers it meets all the requirements along with that Nintendo quirkiness witch is just a plus all around.

Like the other two have said. If it's getting to overwhelming take a step back. That's what I do with my writing and I come back at it with a refreshed vigor. Who said you -have- to get things out by certain times~ You're doing this on your own violation and you have the right to control what time frame you update it in. If you start feeling overwhelmed take a longer break and come back at it when you deem you are ready. I'm sure your fans will appreciate it more if you give it the best of your power rather than half assing it cause you want to get it done quicker.

I just like sticking to deadlines to help show everyone that I am doing work and I am trying to get it done. I guess the stress comes from releasing something that I feel is not up to my standards, then again, I have been dealing with that the entire time I have been working on blackgate. It is a process and if it were to my standards it would be complete.

Do not stick to a deadline so tightly that you end up hating what you make, but at the same time know that you do not have to hit gold the first time.

You have the creative freedom to go back and polish or out right change what you have created no one is rushing you. Just be open and honest with yourself and us and you will find that we are more forgiving then you think.

I am not hating what I make, I more or less, want it to be better. I guess that is a good thing. Although it causes me stress hahaha. I am not a perfectionist, I think? I am trying to be as open as I can and sticking to a schedule will give evidence that I am working on things and will continue to work on them.

I know you have patroen and the stress of making something for the Fans but keep in mind you started it so you wanted something like this its your project and we are here just for the Ride.

Make something you love and we will accept it :3
